So as you may have noticed i have started writing some pokemon scripts, thanks to a discussion between me and Hyde. These scripts are in the “testing” phase and by that i mean im a busy mother fucker ! soif you find any sort of problem or glitch or bug or whatever, let me know asap soi can fix them, as i have a shit load of work to do regarding pokemon systems.

I currently have the capture system working pretty well, ijust have to sort out the capture calculations to replicate pokemon.

The Evolution system is also pretty far along, im just tidying it up and such like shit,

so thats good news ^_^

I will also make a small demo soon enough…

    will these scripts be standalone so that they can be used in a normal project with out making a pokemon related game (capture pets who enter battle alongside the hero as a part of the main party and then the pet can evolve)?

    i am trying to make them as “stanalone” as possible, however some will require maybe another script or so, for example both capturing and evolving “pokemon” (actors) clones actor data, and will therefor require a small script that clones actor data and saves it :p i will make them as standalone as i can though ๐Ÿ˜€ and if one isnt compatible with another script iwould welcome compatibility requests ๐Ÿ˜€

    the capturesystem works as it is, but you can only notetag items/skills with and it will make capture sucess 50% i want it running through a pokemon calculation as well :p

    Well i would idealy like it if others contributed to a pokemon rpg maker “kit” that can be built upon to completely replicate the most modern pokemon games ( minus the 3d aspect) ^_^

    its hard tofind graphics and things to fit the engine so its very time consuming having to troll the web and then convert them into rpg maker size

    lol thats fine, if you have any pokemon related graphics that you want to share send them to me in a pm or a post on the page somewhere, mostly things like walking graphics for pokemon that have been converted to fit into vx ace and things of that nature .

    pretty much anything that looks “pokemon-y” that vx ace doesnt have from tilesets to overworld pokemon sprites, the spriters recource is a great source of sprites they just arent vx ace compatible , so need converted :p

    One of the reasons my progress is soslow is because of all the images and things ive had to convert (in my test project i have bulbasaur – blastoise overworld sprites and the title has an epic jumping pichu) il be reeasing the ” demo ” once i finish the capture and evolve scripts ๐Ÿ˜€

    Also thespritersrecourse has MILLIONS of pokemon sprites (animated and fixed).
    thats where ive been going ๐Ÿ˜€

    i do not know, because i dont have a clue where to begin with gif image support but it is something i would definetly want to add ! as it stands if you have a 13 slide long image it can act like a gif, but it takes ages to transfer gif images into that format ๐Ÿ˜€
